OT: The Worst Movie Ever

A few listed here I actually liked. Billy Jack, Bill and Ted etc

One movie I turned off after 15 minutes was Napoleon Dynamite. Thought it was terrible.

Power of the Dog is making a serious run for worst movie ever. I rarely ever turn off a movie, but 30 mins in (yes I actually made it that long) I just had to turn it off. With the pace of that movie the West would still be an ongoing battle.
I did not like the movie either, started to watch it a second time after the best pic nomination and still did not like it
I do think the lead cowboy was excellent in his role and seemed truly believable
So, this wins best picture and best actor anyway

I’ve only seen three of the movies mentioned in this thread, which appears to have been a stroke of good fortune. The three are:

Thelma & Louise (liked it)

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure (liked it)

Napoleon Dynamite (loved it)

It's going to win the Oscar for best picture.
Yes, gay cowboys is a winning recipe with the Oscar's. If you hit certain talking points or social agenda target areas the critics will love you for it. Still doesn't make it a good movie.

I've learned to avoid the bad ones, but saw many stinkers over the years.
How much time ya got,

Any stupid parody movies Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans, etc.
The Happening, The Village
Inception
Rocky 5
Any reimagining, remaking, or sequels of classic movies from the 70s and 80s in the last 10 years or so, too many to count.
Found it recently- "Rollergator", so bad that it wasn't funny
Baby Geniuses 1 & 2
Agree with Troll 2, I watch many B, C, D level, low budget horror
Hobgoblins, knock off Gremlins, Mac N Me, knock off ET, and any other knock off of the real film made in the last 30 years or so.

Hard to remember all of them.

Has this not been mentioned?

WW84! Other than the fact that Gal Gadot is eye candy for you hetero boys literally everything about this disaster is bad…EVERYTHING!
eh the Joss Whedon version of Justice League was worse lol

Batman & Robin might have been worse too, if not for Arnold as Mr. Freeze making terrible puns all day saving that film.

i remember Mars Attacks being unbelievably bad, but maybe I was too young back then to understand the comedy.

I want to say Heaven's Gate but I never saw it and never met anyone who did. It was such a disaster United Artists was sold and ceased to exist as a movie maker.
Directed by Michael Cimino. This was his next movie after winning the Oscar for perhaps the best movie ever. The Deer Hunter.
Many of the movies listed in this thread are Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes.
Deer Hunter best movie ever? Surely you jest.

“Wicker Man”, with Nicholas Cage, started bad then descended, continuously for the entire length of the movie, into a vomit-inducing awfulness that has never been matched by any other bad movie. I only kept watching it because of the fascinating decay that never ceased until the closing credits.

I’ve never seen any other movie where it became exponentially worse, minute by minute, from start to finish.

For a guy who has been the star of many memorable movies; he's also been the lead on way too many terrible movies.

Very true.

I generally find him to be a pretty bad actor, often overacting. Kind of the same way I view Tom Cruise, actually. But, like Cruise, Cage's bad acting still somehow works for certain characters in some movies (e.g. Con Air, The Rock, National Treasure). Not that they were "good", per se. But they were (for me, at least) enjoyable viewing experiences.

Lucky for all the bad actors out there, we humans have an immense capacity to suspend reality when being entertained. No political pun intended.

The Green Berets.

If we're going with bad John Wayne movies, I have to go with him playing Ghengis Khan.

Punch Drunk Love

or The Heartbreak Kid
The Heartbreak Kid? I hope you mean the remake because the original in 1972 with Charles Grodin, Cybill Sheperd and Eddie Albert was funny as hell. She was only 21 years old in this movie.
FYI - Mrs. Roper from Three's Company played the mom.

Agree with a lot of these but I thought Inception was a pretty good movie.
