OT -thoughts and prayer for the Dutch cyclist

not sure if this is verified, but it was a nasty crash. Twitter starting to mention lumbar fractures.

Yike ! that is awful. The initial report was she seemed ok.

The crash was shown live. The road was lined with what looked to be stone or concrete and she slammed into it very violently and she was out cold. I thought she might not have survived when I saw it.

I watched when it happened. She had a good 15-20 second lead on the decline, I believe, and then just lost it and crashed something awful into a curb. Looked like the life went out of her. So bad to see.

Compared to what was thought at first , it is a lot better than the tweets posted before implied.
Only going by what the article said and no one knows for sure if she'll be ok or not.
But the cbs article didn't mention the extent of her injuries.
