I have no idea whatsoever. Chambers Bay is so different from any tour venue there's nothing to go by. There are going to be shots and more so a lot of putts that'll look more like mini golf than a major championship.

The consensus seems to be McElroy or Spieth with Phil the sentimental choice.

I'm going with Rickey Fowler beating Rory by 2 strokes.

Here are the guys I put a few bucks on:

Spieth 6-1
fowler 16-1
Bubba 27-1
Matsuyama 28-1
Walker 33-1
Reed 44-1

Top guy- Phil
Dark horse - Ryan Moore (he's from the NW and has played there previously)

Most unpredictable US Open in awhile. Given the length of Chambers Bay, I'd give McIlroy the nod over Spieth. I like Justin Rose a lot this week, and I think it might be time for Henrik Stenson to make more noise in a major. Fowler should be right there. Ryan Moore is a good dark horse.

Gun to my head, I'm picking Rose. But again, the course is such a huge wild card.

How about the defending champ, Martin Kaymer?

Cool, but crazy course - a combo of links and mini-golf, lol. If the course dries out too much, it'll become unfair. Given the creativity required, I'm going with Phil finally winning a US Open.

The star of this Open for at least the first few days will be the course itself. No one knows how it will play and no one has a clue on where the winning scores will be. Although it appears to be a link style course the winner will be someone who has figured where to hit the second shot as these greens are not flat like links golf.
Should be very exciting 4 days
Also Fox Sports first venture into golf.

Yeah. The winning score could be -5 or -20. I think these guys could tear the course up. There's just so much room. If someone has a really good week with their irons they may come out with a couple of very low rounds. It's going to be all about where (angle) you approach the green because putting uphill is a major key.

Matt Mabrey. Tees off at 5:01 pm. Qualifed in Dallas 2 weeks ago at the Sectional. He is the youngest son of one of my best friends.

I'm going with Rickey Fowler beating Rory by 2 strokes.

Tiger has missed almost every fairway and green, lol. He's about +4 after 7 holes and now missed very badly a huge fairway. Wow, has he lost EVERYTHING big time. Time to call Butch i think.

Tiger has to be favored... US open is traditionally won by someone with a score over par. Tiger is definitely the odds on favorite to shoot over par!

I just noticed Fox never puts up a graphic w who the player is that is hitting the ball lol. Growing pains i guess.

Tiger shot an 80. He topped a 3W from the fairway on 18. He has become a driving range champion.

They said early on they were having problems with their graphics. At one point the scoring system went out completely for everyone, not just them.

Not shocked by this. He's a mess tee to green.

What did shock me was Ricky Fowler being 10 over at one point. He's been playing so well and was tearing it up in his practice rounds according to his practice partners.
