Told a friend of mine who is not a RU fan that RU is changing their mascot to the goldfinch. He bought it and told peeps at work. He texted me back later in the day asking why? It's a bird. I let him off the hook about an hr ago,

The goldfinch is the state bird of NJ but not exactly the image you want to have as a mascot striking fear into your opponents' hearts. But then again neither does a terrapin.
