OT: Women's Soccer vs G'Town

Down 1-0 at the half. Only caught last 10 minutes or so BUT what I saw was an effort similar to that against Minny in the B1G final's 1st half. We were "back on our heels" and not playing "Rutgers Soccer." I expect a different, and better, 2nd half and hopefully a goal to tie this up and take it home from there!

Yeah. That was a tough one. Great ball in and head on it. Jimenez made the initial stop but I guess the bounce of her hands took her a step back far enough to call it a goal.

Not easy to beat #2 on the road, regardless, another GREAT season for the ladies!

The way they do the draw for the NCAA was a big factor also. They are very geographically focused in the first couple of rounds, so we had a very difficult bracket with GTown, UVA, Penn St. But, you gotta beat the best to be the best. A very good follow-up season and there's no disgrace losing at the #5 team in the country. Good recruiting class coming in.

Pretty good for what is a program now with real expectations. They are young, recruiting is good, and the program has juice. Good times ahead for the ladies.

RU soccer women don't play like ladies. They play strong, Jersey strong. They have a good coach. I think the future is bright.

If anything proves that some people can never be happy, that's it. Why do these people have to claim to be Rutgers fans?

When they say stuff negative stuff against a losing football or basketball program they excuse it by saying its justified because of the losing.

Now here is a winning womens soccer soccer team that played in the Big Ten Championship and won a 1st round NCAA game.. coming off a season where they played in the Final Four and still people insist on being negative.
