Matsui is honestly my favorite Yankees player of the past 10 years. All class. I never thought I'd forgive them (Cashman) for not resigning him after his historic World Series MVP performance (and we haven't won since)... but this is a great start. Hopefully this puts him on the path to coaching some day.

Best news all day.

Hideki Matsui - pornography collector[/B]

"The one-time New
York Yankees superstar and World Series MVP - affectionately known as
Japan's 'Baseball Godzilla' - is open, honest and matter-of-fact about his love
of pornography. Make no mistake, this is way more than a couple of copies of
Playboy: a profile in Time magazine's Asian edition in 2003 reported that he
has some 55,000 blue movies in his collection."

Weird Hobbies of the star

You wouldn't want to sit in any of his chairs in his home theater!!

I grew up loving the Yankees and did so into my late 20's. I also pitched and played third base through high school so please don't be offended... but at this point in my life I'd rather have a testicle removed without anesthesia while getting a root canal done also without anesthesia while being forced to watch MSNBC than to have to watch five minutes of that snorefest called baseball. I don't know why that happened, it just did.

Rockin. I feel sorry for you that you lost the love of a great game. MLB is the only sports package I buy any longer. I love all sports except pro basketball. But the top three TV sports I watch are college football, golf and MLB. Can't get enough of them.
People have different tastes in everything. That's why there are so many offerings from sports to beer.
Maybe when your life slows done it will come back to you.
