Our Volleyball Program Really Struggles

At some point, you have to question why we are fielding a team. I get title 9 and everything, but if we aren't going to properly invest in it, what does it matter?

This team is 3-16 and hasn't won conference match ever, and likely won't break that streak this year.

Like all of our programs, this is another one fighting with one if not both hands behind its back compared to its conference mates.

I saw a few minutes of their game last night against Michigan and they seemed pretty competitive. Perhaps they're improving?

I think that they are improving but the BIG is a very strong volleyball conference so the gradual improvement does not reflect on the record.

I thought the team played pretty well last night and very importantly, they didn't look discouraged or intimidated.

In this weeks womens' volleyball rankings, the BIG has 8 teams in the top 25!!! including 4 in the top nine!! Similar to wrestling, right.
