Peterson.Looked real tough on his feet.Has got be a little methodical with his shots. He gets in but I feel against top 5 he will get countered easily. Can't sit there in bottom and rest on the score.Other than that he looks great

Shawver.Looked real tough against a potential AA.Like I said previously.Couldve been I'm a mid-season funk.Needs to loosen his stance up a bit.Sometimes being a little stiff can open yourself up too shots and getting taken down.

Hermes.Kid tried his hardest and gotta take your hat off to him.

Clark.Really impressed with his new found aggression. One thing I noticed. He does keep his head down when he shoots and that's why he got stuffed on the takedown. A little crisper with his attacks and he is gonna make some noise at NCAAs.

Harer.Looked liked he really turned the corner in this match. He wasn't afraid to mix it up. As mentioned previously, he has too work on his strength and being a little more offensive. Again, he's a young freshman and this experience will be so beneficial for his career.

Barbosa. He looked composed and wrestled a smart match.Has to get a little more offensive and not let people get in on his legs so easily. For a freshman he has a bright future. Love his demeanor. Very humble and it's all business with him.

Turley.Cant be content with a 3-2
loss to Kharc. He wrestled aggressive but has got to get back to worked before.Tbat high flying don't an F about winning or loosing. That type of wrestling will get him back on the podium.

SCW.So impressed with this kid. RS freshman with a respectable hs resume but nothing to write home about, hanging with and beating some of the best kids in the country. Love him running back to the line. You can't teach that type of mentality. Strength and a little it better defense is what he should really work on.Other than that we got a gem in this kid.

Poz.Really like what I'm seeing from him lately.More patient with his shots and keeping his composure when he is down or tied up in a match.Has got to work on his defense just a little bit because people are getting to his legs to easily. Against the Josh Barrs in the nation, they are gonna run up the score on him.Just had to keep improving.

Yara. Was the physical, more aggressive wrestler in that match.Unfortunately he is becoming very one dimensional with the knee pick and the double handed tie up.I still think he will AA again this year, but has to pick up his offense and throw some other moves in there if wants a top 4 finish.

Nice summary! Despite losing a close one to a traditional B1G power, lots of positives to take away from this match. If only Yara had come through but that was a very close match. Really entertaining watching this last night. Seeing progress being made. Very enthusiastic for the rest of the season.

very helpful summary. thank you.

huge mental mistake by Yara. There is a time to go for it and there is a time to be patient and wait for OT. But clearly it wasn’t meant to be

Go in OT or go in regulation. Situation would have been the same. Feldman is stronger of the 2 so I wouldn’t have loved our chances in ride outs anyway.

i dont know if it was HUGE mental mistake...he was the underdog, who seemed to have less length and strength than his opponent. maybe I agree with you, and say you try something in OT vs. end of regulation...but I dont know if I would say HUGE mental mistake.

the bigger issue - as pointed out above - is not having any variety in his attacks...that was more of a problem than the timing of his half-committed shot (IMHO)

he lost in a similar fashion to Bullock at midlands, btw...

Youth wrestled well. Excited to see how this season develops. Nice that we can win duals but looks like we have talent to make some waves in the B1G and possibly NCAA tourney.

I hear you but I’m of the opinion that Yara “managed” a great match up until that weak shot. No need to do that given the match was on the line. At least in OT or TBs there is a chance Feldman makes a mistake. Yara bailed Feldman out with under 30 seconds left.

i do get what you are saying and think you have a very good point. I was just picking on the word "HUGE"...
