On paper, IU should have the players to replace Smith. Smith was good for 10 ppg and 5 rpg. They could go small since the 5* guard (Lander) reclassified to 2020. Another option is to go with little-used Thompson and Hunter, who are similar in size, and their combined stats are just a little less than Smith.

I agree not a huge loss outside of depth on the wing. Very athletic but not overly polished.

Good list. FYI, Illinois also adds combo forward Jacob Grandison who sat out last season after transferring in from Holy Cross.
