Pacheco color commentator comment

GM saw he was "stopped over and over again behind the line".

Pretty brutal to hear if you're a recruit
Funny thing was Duron Harmon made a goal line stop the play before
He was talking about a GM trying to project what kind of pro IP could be. Said he only avg'd 3 YPC at Rutgers but was being hit behind the line. The point seemed to be that KC saw something in IP that the rest of the league didn't even after he blew everyone away with his 40 time.

All his hard work paid off big. He landed in the perfect place. I'm pretty sure Schiano alerted NFL friends about Pacheco, Matt Millen picked up on it and gave him high praise when Pacheco was playing at RU.
Yup...MM really was all over a cocknosed Pacheco every time he ran the ball.

O line was a mess for sure. But it’s clear this kid was under/misutilized. We did a terrible job of getting him involved.

Coaches did try
They used to run him down the line looking for a crease since usual plays were futile
It was kind of a variation on an option play
No dive or pitch but the stretch was there

Truth be told, even Schiano expected Pacheco to be a special teamer in pros and probably a FA sign.
Pacheco's superb combine got him drafted and still late

Millen's comments too that I recall were always special teams related, not starring at rb.

But experts here said is running form is unnatural. I still haven’t see any of them own it yet.
If you bothered to watch the chiefs, his form has changed since he's become the primary back for Kansas City. He doesn't do the feet shuffle that hurt him at RU. He hits the gap and has improved his vision to find the hole instead of running into the OL, as he did here

How many gap did he have to hit?
