Just a flesh wound, he will play next week. :)Aw, man, terrible to hear.
Feel bad for him but makes it easier for me to root against the Chiefs. That blows.
In the grand scheme of things it's an amazing situation but as far as NFL players go..Rbs get a raw deal... hopefully he can get a big pay day like saquon..Definitely sucks since this is the last year of his rookie contract, correct?
They are going to find out quickly how the rb they drafted is not in IP's league. He will miss a significant amount of games in 2024.
This is his 3rd year; he still has next season on the rookie deal. My guess is that he has shown enough that he'll get a second contract somewhere and make enough in the next 3 or 4 years to be set for life.Definitely sucks since this is the last year of his rookie contract, correct?
They havent drafted a RB in the last 2 years. Pacheco is their most recent RB draft pick. Their 2020 draft pick (CEH) is on the injured list for the first 4 weeks with non-football related health issues. They are going to find out quickly how the rb they drafted is not in IP's league.

I can't stand the Chiefs, but wish the best for Isaiah.
How could anyone root against Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the Kansas City Chiefs ?Feel bad for him but makes it easier for me to root against the Chiefs.

If anything, this injury may help display how useful Pacheco is to the balance of their offense. Hopefully KC rips up his contract next summer and pays him $5-6M a year for the next 3 yrs.
Thanks. Didn't realize Steele was undrafted. They havent drafted a RB in the last 2 years. Pacheco is their most recent RB draft pick. Their 2020 draft pick (CEH) is on the injured list for the first 4 weeks with non-football related health issues.
He purchased a Cybertruck for $120K.In general a running back is only in the NFL for 5 or 6 years, and I read that the average is only 2.7 years. They get hit hard on every single play. I hope he is a saver and not a check to check spender.
He took a big hit watching it live, when I saw the replay I was like that looks bad. Not a huge KC fan but him and Mahomes are some of best entertainment in the league.such is life as an nfl rb
Never a good move regardless of what tax bracket you may be in. Ironically, that popped into my head when I read this news: Why? Why?He purchased a Cybertruck for $120K.

How can you forget Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?

Well said, but easy for Scottie Pippen to say now:Never a good move regardless of what tax bracket you may be in. Ironically, that popped into my head when I read this news: Why? Why?
Was it dream okay or hip drop type on tackle?I just started to see him in commercials.
The injury looked awkward.
He wasn't hit on front of knee.
Another player's leg was behind Pacheco's knee when it bent closed.
It looked like knee would have been forced to expand.
Hard to see how there could be no ligament/cartilage etc damage.
One guy was holding his legs and another guy hit him up top causing him to bend backwards on top of the guy still holding his legs..Was it dream okay or hip drop type on tackle?
