Patrice Rene taking an Official to UNC

If he doesn't like going to real classes, we're screwed.
Campbell, Russo and Rene were the jewells of the class. Hope we can hold on to Rene but the recent history of decommits makes me worried
IMVHO, the most important commits of this class, based on what we critically need, are Pollock, Manning and Barbir.
Pretty sure DB is an area of need; if you watched games this fall.
Just a little..and hes probably an 'over rated Four star" just like all the spinmasters that said Russo "should have been a four star" but today are saying..hey hes "only a three star"..

Go Heels! Mega-sanctions are coming this spring. Until then, Heel coaches have gone on record multiple times saying their program (FB, BB, WBB) will not be effected, this despite the NCAA's NOA stating otherwise. Not exactly a bastion of honesty, integrity, and character there in Chapel Hill.
Ash should have some kind of relationship with Patrice because OSU was recruiting Rene and gave him an offer ( a Buckeye fan said it was a non-commitable offer).
Also didn't Patrice state he was still going to take visits after he verbaled ?
I think RU is leading the game but Rene is ripe to accept a P-5 offer from one of the major programs.
UNC's problems might make them behind RU in the Rene sweepstakes , if the kid likes Ash.
Hopefully RU isn't a fall back program that Patrice committed to when the top programs didn't seem to be going all out to land him and he felt they thought of him as a fall back option

Comical beyond belief how many ACC haters are on this board, yet when we get a transfer from one of their schools or a kid is considering going their over us, he's suddenly a rock star #ComedyShow

If you don't care about bowl games it's still a full ride to one of the best public universities in the nation.
But given the history of the program, one wonders whether the players had the opportunity (were they discouraged?) to take advantage of the academic offerings of what is indeed a fine educational institution
UNC was, is, and always will be a BB school. FB takes a back seat to BB. Always. Interestingly, this weekend Patrice will no doubt be treated to a BB game on Saturday, as the Heels host the NCSU Wolfies. Big time atmosphere for that game, only rivaled by the Heels v Blue Devils. So he'll get to experience the excitement and school spirit on display in the Dean Dome. He'll come away impressed. No one will mention the scandal or the coming sanctions.
Not good for us if they still serve genuine Chik-Fil-A sandwiches in the Dean Dome. Don't let him near the chicken fingers at the RAC if/when he comes on campus.
