Earlier tonights I was able to catch the Non-Public North B semis game between Gill St. Bernard's and Immaculate Conception. Below you can see some of the highlights from class of 2019 Rutgers signee Paul Mulcahy.
My evaluation of him hasn't changed much since I saw him a couple weeks back at Kean take on Ranney and Long Island Lutheran.
Mulcahy definitely needs to work on becoming a better shooter, but man are his dribbling and court vision are top notch. As you can see in the highlights he makes some real nice passes, but his teammates were just missing some very easy layups and shots. Overall he has a very good chance to push for the starting point guard job next year, but I still give the nod to Jacob Young at the moment. The rotation will get really interesting next year, as coach Pikiell and crew have a couple of different guys who can play multiple guard spots.
