Saw some quotes in the official release. Of there was ever a time to rip his team this was it.

Didn’t happen though. The effort wasn’t there. Plain and simple. Few Pike teams would you say the other team wanted it more. Seems like all the teams we play do now. Pike can’t call them out. I sure hope he is different in the locker room.

Don’t worry, Pike has everything under control, he is probably smashing PJ Hayes’ cell phone as we speak. 🙄

For better or worse he's never going to throw any of his players under the bus.

I have no idea what he's like in the locker room but if he's not having real conversations with the players he's not doing them any favors.

Ace and Dylan should have been on that stage answering real questions. They are professionals and about to be in the NBA.

All you have to do is look at the body language of the assistants on the bench. They have been lost all year. No urgency no emotion no coaching. Very disinterested. And that emotion has spread to the players.

Stopped listening to them. You may as well play a recording.

Saw it firsthand last night sitting behind the bench. pike was trying to coach and motivate but people weren’t into it. I barely saw much from the coaches

Most of the in game coaching is done by Pike or Knight in prior years. But this year the chemistry of the bench is way off. I sit behind the bench when I attend the games. I haven't seen Thompson or Williamson engage all year. On TV it's even worse because you can see their expressions and general disinterest in being there.

What fans see in games should be a reflection of what occurs during practices. Its hard to understand that the team doesn't practice inbounding passes, switching on defense and positioning for rebounds .As to the half court offense there is no system other than iso basketball which doesn't work with this roster .

As the announcers commented. The team and coaching staff came out of halftime with a lackadaisical attitude. Coaches not involved and many of the “stars” sitting on the bench versus warming up.

Sounds like as you say this carries over from practice and preparation.

Quite remarkable to hear announcers say that.
