Defense should be better just by returning all of these guys who will have experience and be in the same scheme for more than a year.

Or by hopefully getting more bodies thereby reducing minutes of all in the rotation.

I still have a lot of question marks of whether all of our non bigs, outside of Mathis, ability to defend.

The lack of turnovers generated I think has a lot to do with the inability of a lot of our perimeter defenders to be in passing lanes and put on ball pressure.

McConnell is good at this. 3.4% steal rate is third in the conference.

I need a bigger sample size when looking at his D. I do remember him doing a good job earlier in the season against a good B1G player. For the life of me I don't remember the game or player.

Caleb is one of the best defenders on the team. Yet another reason to play him

Defense can be schemed. It's not like Wisconsin has more athletic players than us. That's my take on why the experience matters.

Our 3 point defense against Ohio State and Michigan was atrocious. Illinois it was better as the threes were contested mostly. Montez and Caleb are pretty decent defenders and Ron and Myles can get better and Myles should be able to block another shot or two a game.
