I have said something similar on the RT and the Football Board all the time...
We just have to do a little around here and people will start to notice. If we got the same or even a little less success/results in the revenue sports of MBB and Football like we have in Wrestling and Lacrosse...watch what happens.
I have a feeling the win will mean far more to us than the loss will mean to SHU when all is said and done.
and hopefully for both of us it won't be listed as one of the "Bad Losses" end of year resume...
Some how I think we are just getting going. We can improve much more in playing and recruiting. I loved the hire in March of 2016 and still do. Coach has a well thought out plan for our team. SHU fans don't like to admit it but they are worried.One guy saying that next year they will have 3 guys better than anyone at RU I just think is way off base. Powell is very good but he took a really cheap shot at Eugene with 3 seconds left. Our guys controlled their emotions in what could have become an ugly situation. This reminded me of the mugging that Herb Pope gave Dane Miller several years ago at the buzzer when he tried to dunk the ball. SHU always seem to have some of these type of guys. Rodriguez has tried to instigate a fight several times. One example recently was the Rhode Island game. I would think Willard should have a better handle on his guys. Just play the game. SHU guys did so much smack talk during our game. It was hard to believe. I'm glad the good guys won.
Maybe you can now stop your snarky , condescending posts about our Rutgers team that caused your team to wilt like a flower in crunch time. The crap you were spewing on your board was distasteful and arrogant. Glad you got your comeuppance. Guess what? It will be coming every year as these two teams will battle to the wire like it has almost always been in the history of the rivalry.
Coach of the Week? Oh my god ... Hey, I'm all for positive publicity, but coach of the week just screams to be made fun of. It just does. Let me guess -- the Wofford guy will get it this week?
