I know you are all in and a huge fan of Rutgers. So I respect your input. But if the conversations and emails I and others have exchanged with his ultimate boss haven’t changed anything, I have little hope an email I send him directly will have any effect.
I don’t go to many games anymore since I live a couple thousand miles away, so not sure I should be sending anything in regards to game day feedback.
I just simply read what people complain about and send out ideas based on the feedback given here.

If I were in his position I’d think I would sign up for this forum and actively reach out for feedback and ways to improve fan experience.
But I’ve also learned over the years most people aren’t proactive like that with their work.
I called him out regarding the lion roar in an email. he not only answered but he fessed up and admitted guilt. He didn't have to do either of those things, certainly not admitting his guilt.
The marketing department knows that the on field product is less than entertaining these days. they are, clearly, trying to make the game day experience better.
I would note that he's not in charge of pretzels or bathrooms. Rather the game day experience itself.

Speaking of the boardwalk, is he in charge of the forced cattle drive past it to get into the stadium as well? I have zero interest in it and just want to get into the stadium without having to shuffle with people who've never seen a rice ball before.

There is so much stupidity in this thread. Only people who went to RU should be hired to run things here? Really? The boardwalk thing seemed to be a big hit and whomever worked on it did a great job. For all the complaints in here about some roar thing that probably only a handful of people notice or know about, it sounds like he took responsibility and worked to fix it. That sounds like the type of person you want working for your school. If he can fix the exit to the blue lot we can build him a statue at the exit.
Hire someone from Mexico, idc. Just no PSU.

There are still plenty of things that need to get fixed with game day ops. Besides the lion roar, which we hopefully never hear again, the entrance, the horse video (which I don't care that much about but many others do care), the flow of music, the train horn, the lack of integration of the marching band into the flow of the game are issues. The Knightengale service needs much better management, and they could do a better job of staging buses back to the RAC lots and you got it--fix the Blue Lot exit plan. A lot to fix. How long has he been here? But let's slurp him for doing one thing well-the boardwalk.

As I've previously stated on this board,the drowning of the f psu chant is a request from high end donors, one of whom specifically told me this. The train horn is seemingly their best option. Is it overused at other points during the game? Absolutely.

Many visiting fans gave us high praise for our game day atmosphere.
Because our gameday atmosphere is GREAT! Honestly, with as bad as the team has been for years the fact that we still get as many fans as we do speaks volumes to the job PJ has done, particularly since unlike PSU, we actually have other nice entertainment options within an hours drive on a Saturday…
I took the buses every game to stadium and back to JMA. The only issue I encountered was the Nebraska game with school buses. We were caught in traffic. Other than that buses were awesome.
PJ sucks & loves James Franklin. He should have been fired immediately after the lion
roar at our stadium. If that was done at Ohio State they would have thrown him off a bridge.
This is the genius who came up with “Fireworks are you ready” The first thing I would do as an AD would be to fire him. Only RU would screw this up. RU telling me we can’t get an RU alum to do this job? We hire a PSU lover who wears his Lion pajamas & has pictures of Joe Pa all over his house. Can’t make this crap up. RU should be ashamed of this hire. Rates right up there with Ashe

I went back to a game this year and immediately posted feedback on this board about my experience with the good and bad. All of the bad stuff people were like yeah that’s the PSU guy LMAO.

How about the hoards of kids from NJ who go to PSU initially for undergrad who potentially might need to move closer to home and attend RU, should we deny those students learning at our institution if they would otherwise qualify for no other reason that they were students at our hated football rival???
