The only value PSU has in game day atmosphere is the fact that 100k+ people go there every Saturday because there is absolutely nothing else going on in that trash cow town.
Flip the attendance numbers and there’s nothing to talk about with PSU, aside from their magic ice cream obviously.

As for their atmosphere it’s electric. The white out is ridiculous and our fans can’t even get the colors right for the ‘stripe out’ games…. Do you really think 100k people live in state college? I was there for the stripe out game, it wasn’t that cool. It’s tradition there to do a white out game and everyone knows it, it’s not hard to wear white lmao.
I’ve been to many many many away games and games not involving RU. WVU in the early 2000s was a cooler road trip than PSU.

FWIW that's been a problem for at least 10 years. It has to do with the buses so they force all the people to walk on only one area of the road. Not sure of a good answer for that except moving the fences another 6' or so.
