And I am also willing to bet that Al didnt witness any of this behavior either. I hate these stupid ass threads telling us how to act at a game. I really don't think a single one of us on this message board is going out of their way to disrespect anyone. Fans from all schools, including PSU have always been welcome at pretty much every tailgate. We have a few drunk fans no different then anyone else. Obviously, a few PSU fans didnt have the common sense to ignore the taunts. On the other hand, there were also the normal back and forth jabbing that all fans do. much of those ended with both sides sharing beers and food and busting each others balls. As for our AD, I still dont understand how she or anyone else had to make a big deal out of signs and t-shirts. Maybe they were a bit classless but everyone has seen a lot worse.
If a PSU fan or group of fans want to enjoy themselves and know how to behave as visitors, they will be treated wonderful and will have a great time. Maybe, just maybe, that is why our fanbase was treated this way at PSU...Because we didn't go there looking for a fight and know how to let some things slide off our backs and we know how to have fun, even busting balls with other fanbases.
