The article nails it. And what is with all this, Eddie has class has represented the University well? I know that after the MR debacle that there was a focus on that which was important, but lets not pretend acting responsibly and being a good RU representative is some sort of noble act. Eddie is getting paid a lot of money to be the MBBHC at RU. He has demonstrated he is not a good College Coach for the past 3 years. The decision should be easy.

the fact that Eddie didn't see a problem with the defense?!?

he can't teach toughness?

When Eddie went back to school he should have taken PR classes.

Definitely a big gripe. Not sure what representing the school with class even means. Not throwing balls at players or getting caught with blow and hookers isn't really something to be proud of. It is simple expectation.

Representing the school with class, to me, would be putting out a team that gives maximum effort at all times, plays together, has a game plan, and doesn't look like a rag tag bunch who just walked in off of the play ground.

We're just not good at basketball right now. Eddie Jordan seems like he's been behaving above board (which is faint praise) but he's clearly not the right guy to coach this program.

Although I will take exception to the idea that we haven't seen a program more hopeless than Rutgers men's basketball, because by God was that football team miserable at the end of the Terry Shea error.

this is the exact equivalent of Shea years...exact, poor facilities, poor institutional support, poor fan attendance, poor donation level, fan apathy, poor head coach, poor assistant staff, poor recruiting, overmatched talent level for the conference

EJ answer on the defense question that Politi cites in this article Is reason enough for a coaching change...nothing wrong with our defense? 107 points? That answer plus his teaching rebounding is not in my coaching package response, Are reason enough for a coaching change. How can a man who has been around basketball his whole life say either of those statements? You want to entrust our team with That?

In defense of Jordan post game interviews for a team without talent and players is a very difficult assignment. The most telling stat of the Purdue game is that they didn't need to score one point in the second half.
