The guy does CHOP. Nice to have the support and for him to have Rutgers Football's back.
Tammy.Did he say who the starting QB will be?
That's a good question (and Noah has a glove on his throwing hand):Where is Wimsatt?
He’s probably a Republican. 😃That's a good question (and Noah has a glove on his throwing hand):
Photo-ops are easy. Still AWOL on support. The guy does CHOP. Nice to have the support and for him to have Rutgers Football's back.
Wrong.Photo-ops are easy. Still AWOL on support.

RU is still grossly underfunded by the state.Wrong.
A definite sign that he must be transferring.Where is Wimsatt?
Good point . Didn’t even think of thatLooking for Phil to make a nice donation to NIL for Rutgers. He knows a lot of rich guys too.....
The post that got the most likes is the fake phony smile one. We finally have a Governor that is all in on Rutgers and we have people complaining . This is why we can't have nice thingsThese reactions are why I can't stand politics. It's entirely possible to be conservative or dislike Murphy but still realize it was nice / good for him to do that (even if it was politically motivated$.
Way to go Phil. I can tell who the triggered snowflake leaving the “angry” emoji is without even clicking on it. Soft Seton Hall fans…The guy does CHOP. Nice to have the support and for him to have Rutgers Football's back.
See, that's completely fair and non-partisan. For too long, it seems like we have had ambivalent Governors or Governors working against us.Not a fan of him at all, but it doesn't hurt to have his support and attention
The good thing is that his support extends beyond athletics so the RU 100, 5, 2 or whatever they are these days shouldn't complain. He's probably the most Pro-RU Governor we've had, since I can remember....regardless of politics. Not sure if it's him on his own recognizing the importance of Rutgers / Rutgers sports, or if Holloway has something to do with getting him engaged. I also think Holloway is the best leader we've had at RU in many years. I think both of them will be important in helping to change the culture. I mean that both from an Athletics perspective as well as an Academics perspective. All Rutgers alumni, students, the state residents, etc. should be proud of the overall state university.

LOL! I remember those "promises".Sure, just like Jon Corzine is gonna make up the shortfall in the stadium expansion budget.
As certain judges say…never trust a guy in a turtleneck.LOL. The last budget allocated over 100M to both athletics and academics.
Which is what, 100M times more than his predecessor?
Maybe Murphy should have called Brey and ask how to shut the program down?
True. I was just trying to make the point that it's possible to dissociate what's good for Rutgers and what's good for you or a politician. That's crazy talk to some.I'm not sure how political it is when Murphy is term limited. Not sure what office he could be running for aside from President...and if supporting RU is a qualification for that, we're better off than I thought!
In any case, the fact is that Rutgers fans and alums are now a constituency to be courted and heard, as it should be- at a time when he doesn't he have a race coming up- is big.
did he get state funding for the footballpractice facility? I must have missed that ? Hes more concerned about law abiding citizing and retired law enforcement not having guns in NJ.Murphy's killing it for RU FB and you're just so, so mad. How petty.

N.J. officials spar over gun reform, as Supreme Court rules on concealed carry
Like New York, New Jersey is one of six “may-issue” states, which means law enforcement can use discretion in issuing concealed carry permits.whyy.org
Lol peer schools my ass. Those kids couldn't get into RU if their lives depended on it. They'll be the ones getting coffee for RU grads in 5 years. If you read the comments on Facebook, and click on who is complaining, you see either Seton Hall or Middlesex CC...so peer schools
