Providence looks horrible

I am watching Seton Hall at Providence. This is like street ball by both teams. I am shocked at how bad Providence looks. They cannot hit open jump shots from 3 or closer. I am shocked if they are the #12 team in the country. Their D is decent after a missed shot and they are good on offensive rebounding. Dunn is very good but Bentil has done almost nothing. SHU is pushing the ball and beating Providence down the floor. I think SHU is leading by 10 at the half. Willard was going beserk in one huddle. I think he is really stressing out. This game is huge for SHU. Providence only shot 27% for the first half. They also missed several important free throws.

SHU wound up winning. They deserve credit as they took it to PC all day long. They were the more aggressive team. Bentil was at one point 2 of 11 on fg's. He scored about 11 points on foul shots but although he had a good 2nd half his overall game was just pretty good. Dunn was contained well especially by Gordon who played another really good game. He really does play good defense and often draws a charge.

PC definitely going thru a little funk right now . There most consistent outside shooter is coming off being out with mono and out four weeks is struggling with his shot No one else has been able to step up to help out. Therefore they have been unable to spread the floor and teams are collapsing on Dunn.Also a guy who has stepped up for them most of the year is also struggling Bullock. They have Nova and Xavier coming up soon so they better get this g straightened out quickly.

People keep forgetting that SHU is still a very young team----very prone to inconsistent play.

But when you get their A game they can beat you-----very athletic and they defend well.
