That's why he wouldn't be on my list. Has he even been a coordinator? I don't want another Brady Hoke type fail where he was the DC at Oregon after never having been a DC in his career despite being a HC at 3 stops. The one thing that would make me think twice about hiring Hazell for OC
is a lack of experience at that position.
Being a ex P-5 HC with success at the none P-5 level would be a plus, but RU needs someone that is a good experienced OC first and foremost, because the last one was hoped to be ready for the job and that didn't pan out.

Exactly what it is....they had one for the Temple job and had Kyle FloodHazell? WTF? That sounds like one of those :throw sh!t against the wall and hope no one notices" slide shows from NJ.com.
No way they would consider him.
But they have someone that might be a good one as a consultant and if Steve Sarkisian runs the spread offense ( I think he's pro set and that's not what Ash wants) and Saban doesn't replace Kiffin with him, he might be available. That is if LSU doesn't go after him.As long as we don't hire Alabama's water boy and get excited because he's from Saban's staff.
