It doesn’t include deals signed with a major company like Nike that does it for legitimate advertising reasons, but it would take into account wealthy boosters. It’s not meaningless.Am I correct in understanding that the NIL analysis does not account for individual player deals where the money comes directly from wealthy boosters or corporate sponsors? if this is only collective NIL, the numbers are meaningless.
And you should consider yourself suchI have no interest in contributing towards paying players, beyond the required donations for seats and parking...... If any of that money reaches them, so be it
And I remain as one of the most loyal fans as far as attending games, with the hopes of doing so for decades more
I feel no conflict on this, and consider myself as good a fan as any
So you are jealous of a man making a living in his chosen field!
WAbsolutely not. Pikiell is a great person. He has earned a great living. I just don't like people telling me what to do with my money. It's not a huge deal, but Pikiell has mentioned donating many times. He is living in a brand new world. I agree with a lot of posters that feel like their purchases of tickets, etc, should be enough. We have been loyal to this program for a long time. Part of it is an NIL problem. But guess what? There was a huge issue before NIL as well with players not seeing anything and playing for billion dollar corporations.
