Push The Ball Up The Court...Or Make Sure You Get A Shot Off?

Just watched the first half. I 've seen a few interior passes that are "unselfish"...but it seems like sometimes you have to be selfish and "shoot the hall" (i.e. making passes that lead to turnovers is not unselfish- it's self defeating).

Just wondering.
