What a surprise. A kid with talent picks a team like Nebraska instead of a team in NJ where the message board "fans"(most of which never went to RU) pick the coach and the program apart.
If I was a recruit I would take one look at the neurotic amateur posts here and RUN to Nebraska or any other B10 team that had positive, knowledgeable fans and never look back.

Thats as it should be..thats why I give credit to Savon Huggins for staying with us over ND with all the pressure that ensues a ND offer in our area. Same goes for OL Chris Muller turning away PSU for us though he's from Pennsy!! Just the kinda leaders we need!!Kearney Hub
New Jersey LB turns down Michigan, Notre Dame for Nebraska
"The Scarlet Knights pursued Alexander just as vigorously as Nebraska. In May, Alexander told the Star-Ledger that “there was a lot of pressure on me to go there from certain people.”"
Are you just bored or something?Ok. I do not have an "agenda" and I really hope that Flood proves me wrong by going 11-2 this year and goes to Rose Bowl. Then, I hope he flips Alexander, that RB that committed to OSU, Haskins and gets 9 out of the top 10 NJ seniors.
However, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that Flood has not recruited as well as Schiano. In addition, people (like Dr. Potato) need to stop bringing up their records. Greg had no talent and a program with a losing tradition when he started. On the contrary, Flood had a stellar defense and one of the greatest recruiting class in school history.
As of now, the money is not available to hire a big name coach who can draw top talent but once the money is available, I would love it if my alma mater can hire someone who can do a better job. If this does not happen, I hope Flood can pull off a 2006 like season and build on it. As of now, I personally feel that the former is a more likely path to success.
