Question To The Board on 2014 Rutgers Inaugural B1G Challenge Coin

I saw this on ebay. I never saw this coin back in Rutgers first B1G season of 2014. Does anyone know if they made it available to the public or gave it out to RU fans, or officials or football groups? It's pretty cool. I'd like to find out more about it.

Source - also noticed this on eBay. Never saw it anywhere else. And never remember seeing it during 2014. Wondering if it isn't a knockoff created by some group with no RU ties??

I sent a question to the ebay seller. This was the reply:

"The coin was not made available to the public. Was used for special occasions and the coin toss at the games. A coin was given to the officials at each game."

That is a cool coin and I sure wish they had made them available to purchase. Another missed fundraising opportunity.

I wouldn't be surprised if Flood has these created & didn't even tell anyone.

Look at all the dumb slogans on it "CHOP, TBA, CHOP FAMILY"?!?!? And the statue is completely wrong.

I actually have one of these someplace.

Kyle Flood sent me one last year along with a signed Endzone Pylon, after that Politi Article about me going to every game came out.
Kyle was a class act when it came to stuff like that.

It is a pretty nice coin, nicely weighted.
