That Bo will announce soon and I'm not one to steal a kids commitment. Mineo tweeted its not Rutgers as well .

Sigh, at least he announces tomorrow and we won’t have to keep hoping… another close call for us….. I guess now we gotta hope in Cracker’s Psu/iowa transfers… lol…fk
You may very well get some PSU transfers - but that’s because, though they’ll probably be good enough to make RU’s line-up, they’ll obviously not be good enough to make PSU’s.
But that’s what the transfer portal is for, and I have no issue with athletes transferring to maximize their opportunities.
And before the insults start flying, please note that I am Rutgers season ticket holder in wrestling and football, so I can’t be accused of being an RU hater - as a Jersey guy, I want RU to win as long as it isn’t against Penn State (my alma mater).
Good enough. PSU has plenty of guys that would be an improvement for Rutgers. They'd be smart to go somewhere to actually compete and be appreciated.
Lots of near misses. I suspect Goodale knows already. Today is probably the "Dear John" call day.
I agree with you, imagine if guys like Beard and Bearclaw never transferred out… u guys got too many good guys on the bench it’s insane.. guys like Facundo may never see the starting lineup again… even a guy like Cochran, bumps up and beats Yara.. thinks it will be his time to start this year and Barr comes in and takes the spot.. does PSU really need this many AA lvl guys just sitting on the bench??
Not to mention u guys got a couple insane classes coming in… these recruits spent their whole lives winning so they can’t see the inevitable logjam that will occur.. maybe some PSU fans wanna horde all the best recruits and be multipleAA deep every weight but probably best for the sport, and the athletes, to spread the wealth around a little… do we really need a guy as talented as Facundo (wasn’t he #1 p4p recruit?)on bench?
After all this, it's a money decision. He could have started with five schools, not 70.
I am shocked at the NIL money. He got Arch Manning money. At the end of the day, it is always about the $$$. And look, I dont blame him or his family, that is life changing money

How delusional we were to think we had a real shot.. what happened to the “real shot and offer he couldn’t refuse” tf happened to that meme Tony soprano pic saying Bo is a lock to RU… tf not even in final 4 this is deflating.. sigh…
If it’s PSU it will be comical to see them try to fit in him in his brothers.. the logjams will be comical. V tech will be no impact against the top programs surprised they made top 4 n we didn’t.. tf… okie state got the best future to knock off psu in the future.. damn.
Can’t see it being anything but ok state. Each one of his social media posts regarding the announcement had them prominent in size and location. Front and center in everything I saw posted.
I believe some media members were also saying you guys had a chance which didn't help things. The reality is his family relationship with Steve is what got him on a visit
yeah there was no realistic chance with our NIL limitations... it was fun to dream about for a minute though.
DT has been a mentor of sort to Bo and Jax since they were little kids. I don't think PSU will ever be the option just because he's another person on the assembly line. Iowa got destroyed the other day, so I don't think they're in the convo. Bo spoke of great history, so that take VTech out. OKST has to be it.
They're like the best of both worlds. He'll have two coaches that had senior success plus first hand experience with both Brands and Cael. Also, I think by not being in the Big 10, it's sort of the easier place to commit to.
It was wishful thinking, but I think he and Jax go to the same place. We didn't have much with Jax.
But, it was nice to see our logo as an option until the -48 hrs until the decision. I think that can actually help. I still love where this team is headed!

Not having us in final 4 was a bit of a gut punch w all those guys saying “ RU is a finalist book it blah blah”.
Okie state just landed p4p #3 Ross if they get Bo and Jax that’s p4p #1,2,3 in a class don’t think that has ever happened before… either way feels like DT is the only guy that can knock off Penn state..

So never seriously in the conversation just a favor to a family friend to grace us with his presence for one night. Awesome news.
