I like Reddit sometimes, many sectors of it are just people trying to lift each other up and have a good laugh. You can see that in that thread, not much snark, just jokes and fun. Major contrast to some message boards that involve people from all over the map.
Pretty sure we are always in game threads together on that sub haha, I love it. I was one of the RU people who contributed during the Jordan era, basically known as an RU lifer on that site lol

There are a surprisingly high number of Rutgers fans... Not surprising this season I suppose but even two or three years ago you'd see way more than you'd guess.
The Big Ten as a whole is also the most-represented conference by flairs I believe, too.
I posted my thread and I'm surprised, no PSU fans posting hahaha, but, everyone is so cool and really cordial and even nervous about playing us down the line at the RAC.
Also, someone even said to me that my enthusiasm was infectious. I've NEVER been told that before. It actually means quite a bit to me. I've been following Rutgers basketball (I have only been to the RAC once) since I moved from NJ and I was probably 11, so 22 years now, as opposed to football, I went to all the games until I moved at 10 since I was a baby.
I'm more of a basketball fan to be honest, though I do love football. Also love that Schiano was at the game, and even Todd Frazier and I know that Ryan Hart was there as well!

It wasn't for a while. The first 2 years we had to gain respect. Being in those boards was BRUTAL. Ever since Pike arrived the narrative has changed their immensly.
The best part about all this, was this tradition that we began stealing letters from teams who are above or known to be above us I.E seton hall. Rutgers steals the S from Seton Hall after our win so we became known as Rutgerss. After we beat Wisconsin, I proposed we steal the W so its a play on words like Wrestling. So we became known as WRutgerss. Now we are like WRutgerssss after a couple more wins.
It's an amazing forum after all this time.
