the good news here is unlike last year with HC search, we are the premiere opening in the northeast, with Temple and Pitt being the other openings. We should have first pick of who we want!

We will have to see how this plays out.

Interesting future discussions once final candidates are known.

From Pitt's perspective (IMO) I think they will be looking for an OC with P5 experience.
From a monetary perspective, I'm guessing they will be in the neighborhood of $600 K range.

Pitt Board rumors were Pitt was prepared to give Canada somewhere in the range of $700-$900 K.
Board also saying Canada is getting a 3 year contract for $4 million ($1.33 Mil/yr).

I trust Narduzzi's judgement and for the money Pitt should be able to attract a capable OC.

New information being reported on Pitt Board was Pitt was offering Canada $1 million per year for two year contract.

Additionally, Canada signing with LSU as OC for maybe $1.8 million per year.
