Reports: Explosion in NYC

I defended someone? Where?

Settle down, Trumpkin. If it does turn out to be a bomb, you and your pathetic ilk can commence jerking off shortly.
How ironic, the biggest jerk off on the board, hands down, is talking about jerking off. Lol.

Cut him some slack. He is a college professor who drives a Prius. He is programmed to take idiotic positions.

I think it would be great if terror-attacks went unreported entirely or at least were severely downplayed in the media. Why give the terrorist(s) the attention they desire? I'd rather frustrate the hell out of them by giving it no mention at all.

I realize this approach won't work with in this day and age of reality-TV sensibilities where everybody feels entitled to know every detail about everything. But by over-reporting this crap, we're doing the work of the terrorists.

great idea, just like in Germany where they don't report the migrant crimes as not to create an uprising from the German people

Luckily the scumbags who did this weren't smart enough just to take a quick walk down to the path station which is right there. Could've been a lot worse than a dumpster that looks to have captured most of the explosion inside of it.

Coverage on WLNY NEWS as well.

It isn't that they "weren't smart enough". The device was placed in a dumpster so as to minimize damage. This was "fire for effect". It's unlikely that this incident is the work of an ISIS-like element. The placement of the device as well as the location would tend to rule out a goal of maximizing carnage.

That's not the worst analogy I've heard this year, but it's in the top five.

That's because one apparently hasn't thought it through.

It's not "let's pretend". It's report only what is needed for people to be alert and as safe as possible. Otherwise there is no value in dwelling on it unless you are a member of the law-enforcement, intelligence or related community and can actually do something about it.

And it's, terrorism seeks to terrorize. If people refuse to be terrified, terrorists lose.

Ask yourself this. What did you change in your life having heard the reports of the bombs at the NJ shore yesterday and in NYC last night? What possible good does hearing the reports 24/7 do you?

Worries me that this was a test run of the device... One went off, one failed.

These people might be trying to perfect these devices for another strike.

Sure hope not

That's a possibility.

Although it seems to me most intelligent actors would do their test runs in the middle of some game lands patch out in Nowhere, PA. For example.

The scary part right now is that whoever was responsible for these events hasn't been caught yet. Also, you pray there aren't any copycat events.

The explosive devices found in Seaside Park, NJ, and New York City on Saturday are believed to be from the same person, a law enforcement source tells Fox News.

I haven't seen anything about this. Do you have a source you can share?
Was at work near the area and supervisors brother is a nyc firefighter who he was in contact with...said something to the effect that 911calls were being made jokin that at least 5 were planted all over
