That's one positive. He looked healthy and ran well when he needed to. He passed well despite the absurd amount of drops by these receivers. Our OLine was God awful today and all season. Martin also ran well.

Excellent post and spot-on. I, for one, can't wait to see the following:
- healthy Gio with solid backups
- a new set of WR's which includes Grant
- a new OL
- new TE's
...because as of right now all are the WORST position groups in the B1G, and among the worst in the nation. Can't wait for new blood in the ranks!

Our WRs get better no doubt about that. Patton was the worst #1 receiver RU has had in over 10 years.
I'm very concerned that out Oline doesn't get better or even worse. Who plays TE next year?
Gio is not the answer. Lets stop deluding ourselves.
Gio seemed to hurt his shoulder on the sack at the end of the game. Think it was his none throwing arm however.
OL needs a complete overhaul . Need to look at JUCOs right away ( ala a Kansas St. pattern).
WRs can be fine with Harris, Melton, Amir Mitchell, and hopefully Grant .
TE play can't get any worse . Has to be the worst TEs in the last 15 years. Transfer TE Jerome Washington will be a welcomed addition next season. Let's see in Spring ball.

He's the best QB we have right now. I have no idea what Jonathan Lewis does next year but it's not fair to expect him to be a stud right away.
Gio has at least proven to be a serviceable quarterback. Who else can we say that about on our roster? Lewis has yet to sign with us.
It could be worse. At least Cole is a very good lineman. Seymour seems to have some potential but hasn't looked good these past few games. Miller has been unimpressive and has been killed by bigger, stronger DTs. Who plays the other guard position or center? Ash better find some JUCOs.

Exactly this. Whether or not Lewis is on the roster come March, we have no idea how quickly he can adapt if at all.
Think you mean Mueller got killed by all DL he faced.
Miller will shift to Center next year where he belongs.
If Lewis redshirts, Gio starts again and we get the same results the fans are going to be calling for Ash's head.
The both got killed. Muller is gone next year so I didn't mention him. He basically got worse every year. Miller is undersized, every single DT he faced out weighed him.
So is the theory that if we are the worst in the B1G now we can't get worse? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Definitely need more team speed and that includes the qb. The OL is terrible, but there were times where Gio just didn't take off fast enough to make a play. This system requires that guy. Need a JUCO to buy time.
I called for him to replace Laviano, but not sure if he will be the long term answer. Average at best.
