I read it the other way. Just look at the play calling for laviano. Play calling was set up to make laviano look better. Quicker hits and deep balls. Retting was in to hand off and throw when necessary.

I won't be upset with either of them but I think retting should get the nod.

FLOOD: No, we are not saying anything like that at this point. We have to go back and watch the film. I thought it was a great opportunity for Hayden's parents. They were in for the game. They came in all the way from California to get a chance to watch him play a little bit more. That's really what went into the decision.

It makes no sense to risk injury to your "starter" by putting him into a 63-13 game. This is the clearest sign yet that Laviano is the starter.

EDIT: Didn't see the Flood comment about Hayden's folks being at the game. So, like everyone else, I have no clue who the starter will be.

So obvious. Laviano did not make a single throw that I could not have done just as well. That is not a knock at all. Just a reality that I did not see him have to make a tough throw to get us a first down. Hopefully he can because my feeling is he is Flood's guy.

One thing for sure, being our QB is much easier with Caroo on the field...man amongst boys.
