It's been a combination. There have been some play the WRs make catches and the DB is draped over them. That is just a senior QB putting the ball exactly where he needs to against tight coverage, nothing you can do there outside of making the tackle as soon as it is caught. There were also a handful of other times where Sudfield evaded a would-be sack and found an open man. And then there were times where WRs were completely wide open.
Like I've already posted twice, Sudfield is a very good SR QB going up against an all freshman backfield. They are going to get yards. The fact we are up at halftime is huge and I believe their defense will tire before ours given how much more punishing our ground game is.
