We’ll be fine next year. We have a very legit lineup if corey comes back. Corey will also have secondary scoring options that can space the floor for him too.
Were a bubble team next year if corey comes back
I’m guessing that’s a joke.

We can lose to mediocre Indiana by 25 at home and bad illinois by 30 on the road without Sanders too...long run picture we will be better off with a conistent player rather than one who shows up once every 3 games
maybe. But who's going to score?
Literally anybody. This shooting is historically bad. If Pikiell can't bring in guys to bring guys to raise that from historically bad even to merely poor, then he shouldn't be coaching.
name names
I wished that wasn't the case but being a long time season ticket holder misery is part of the rebuild process that takes decades for completion only to find that the process starts over again. It’s like this program can’t be satisfied unless it inflicts misery on us
Only need 6 for 36 to score more, in theory. But 6 might be a stretch for us too.Might as well just heave 3 pointer if they are gonna shoot 8 for 36 from 2
The inside post players have great difficulty making layups, dunks and baby hook shots.Doorson one foot from the rim and spins away from it. Good grief
---So what....we almost beat...who gives a $H!T.
Pike has to get his players to actually set up plays....and play to their strengths. Thiam looks like a deer lost in the headlights: SIT HIM DOWN.
Play Bullock.

maybe. But who's going to score?
90% of unsigned 3-star guys (rough estimate). It's not my job to recruit. But when he signs guys like Souf Mensah and half the board here (accurately) calls it out as a terrible signing, that's a big problem.
We were lucky injury-wise most of the year. Two injuries is not uncommon. However, with us, two injuries causes a situation where you had Dadika, Mensah, and Bullock on the court at the same time. We couldn’t win a D2 game doing that....and two of those players are on scholarship. That’s just bad roster management. With this team, you need either Sanders or Baker on the court at all times.
We have to add at least one more player who will get meaningful minutes next year.
Recorded the game but definitely will not watch.
Yeah you are the dude who thinks they can make the ncaa..keep dreaming that our newcomers are better than the rest of the leagues newcomers and returning players....we can hope for 4 conference wins but that won't get them higher than 14th
Its year 5 and 6 to look for
Waters found Jerome Coleman out of nowhere and how about that team went from very mediocre talent coming into the year to flirting with a NCAA bid. At some point coaches that turn things around get lucky. Pike has this great respected staff, they have to work some magic for a juco guy that can hit 3s.

my point is that their coach had them ready to play after a very tough loss, exactly the same situation as us
and they played a night game, so we even had a few more hours rest.
it is a matter of comparing the coaching staffs getting the teams mentally ready..... theirs did, ours did not.
you are looking at play this guy, sit that guy....that is not the point....it is the overall team being ready
Here is the thing you are missing.
Our newcomers don’t have to be better than the rest of the leagues’s newcomers.
They just have to be better than...
Souf
Dadika
Bullock
and why the ADVIL logo was near our bench too....now I know why that billboard at the RAC asks if I suffer from addiction..............
