That Maryland guy did talk a lot, and did not participate in the post match handshakes. What was his problem?"Smith was colorful in describing his third win over Dawson Peck. "He likes to run his mouth but where I come from, when we beat you three times, you call me daddy."
Smith had beat Peck twice at The Midlands
Guttys win by Smith. That kid beat Dhesi from Oregon St.He was no slouch.

sorry,my bad.Cabell.I knew it was one of the top heavyweightsPerhaps you mean Cabell. Peck hasn't wrestled Dhesi to my knowledge.
I think Donnie spends alot of time in AA's ear, which may have an effect on his mindset. It's like when the same person tells you a story over and over again, you get not only burnt physically but mentally.Just hope this doesn't turn out too be another Scott Winston/Mario Mason routine, where the kid comes in dominant for the first year to year and a half and then he becomes stagnant for the remainder of his career. This also not a poke at either Winston or Mason.I've met both kids, and they are probably the nicest young men and cordial too all the fans. But lets be frank here. Goodale took a lot of heat for not developing these kids mentally and physically ,and it was a pattern for a couple of years.I do have too agree with wng on this one though.AA might just be a little burnt, and there was no reason for AA to "get all up" for this match, because the kid was not a feather in AA's cap. That's not too say, that AA may see one of these guys in the NCAA quarters or even semi's, who knocked off a top or higher seed.I would say sit him for awhile too rest and recoup, but we got Michigan and Wisconsin coming up ( not looking past Princeton) and we need him.Maybe Scott and Donnie will rest him before Drexel and Big 10's too let him get his mojo back.I would have thought that Pritzalff would have been a big help for Ashanult, right now it looks like Ashnault is getting slower, and less aggressive with each match. At this rate he will be a quick exit at both the Big10s and Nationals.
Somehow, Coach G has to light a fire under him. Way, way too tentative now.
Honestly they were less than ok. I finally had enough and turned the sound down when one of them claimed that AP lost a fall opportunity because 'he only had one foot in the circle'. I think its important to at least know the rules, they're not that hard to learn. You don't think they are doing an "ok" job? The one guy is kind of annoying,I get it.You can't really expect two non athletes,to be wrestling experts.
