Too many fouls on RU. But Scaife has looked better on a couple shots today than the past few games.
Rutgers is on tonight but they need to pour it on and keep wacking the Gophers... 20-5...Rachel and Ariel already with 2....krista doing great job
25-9....rutgers getting sloppy and Minny doing better with the pass to post..please don't let them back in
I wasn't familiar with Zahui B before, but at least 2 of the fouls called on us should have been on her. for Ariel's 2nd foul, she hooked Ariel's arm and pulled her backwards to initiate the contact. on another foul, she backed her butt into our player. I'm not at all impressed with her.
And just like that 20 point lead down to 10....13-3 run in 4 minutes...and Rutgers is in serious foul trouble
That fast break circus pass and shot is the highlight of the year and may have turned the tide....32-20...important to close this half out strong with lead in double digits
Rutgers completely wasted a great start. We have seen this movie before....outscored 26-12 in last 11 minutes...huge foul trouble and Minny brimming with confidence while RU bricked open shots

Defense starting to flex its muscles...49-40...Holivay doing great job. Ru needs to close this out.
perhaps she's not as hot as usual, but it's hard to call 6-12 for 14 points "cold".
OTOH, Tyler is on fire. 10-15 for 22 points.
Hernandez in...this is the point in the game where our offense struggles so maybe she can spark it...49-42 under 12 timeout
Wow, that's quite the defensive strategy on their big woman. Only to be outdone by the offensive ineptitude down the stretch ... again. Can they really blow this game?
Sheesh. Setting women's basketball a decade or two with the inability to make uncontested layups.
One last comment -- why are women's refs so generous with the foul calls against the largest women? Really worked against RU tonight, win or no win.
