Smith can't protect his ankles, the other kid is cat quick for a heavy

Billy was beaten way before this match even started. That mental block WNG mentioned.

Wow, that was embarassing. Goody probably should have forfeited w the match in hand. It was a bad matchup for Smith. Not many, if any, heavys as quick as Dhesi

What time does the Utah Valley match start? I guess Ru Wrestling Twitter only, right?

Smith looked like he never was on a mat before. Otherwise, RU wrestlers performed spectacularly. Very few teams dominate OSU in Corvallis. RU was well prepared and the long trip didn't seem to bother them, except for Smith who was psyched out even before he took a step onto the mat.

Let's see how they all respond in the second match.

They looked good overall..aggressive.. Really impressed with Lewis. I'm glad I missed the smith bout from the sound of it. They are definitely a fun team to watch, improved from years past.

Thanks (I assumed it was him). Patrick got beat pretty bad by his kid. Had a nice end to the 3rd with a couple takedowns, but that was it. Simmons was Simmons.

To be honest I was worried about the first one since we were traveling cross country. But the men came out and wrestled hard from the opening whistle. Coaches had them ready for battle. Lets hope there is no let down for the second match. I don't expect for there to be one.

I would think that if RU brought their 2nd team, which I'm sure they couldn't afford to, they would beat Utah Valley easily. What time does it start?

Richie Lewis is a delight to watch. Love that style.

great efforts against Oregon State. the wins by Giraldo, Perrotti, Hrymack were over ranked guys. they impressed me a lot today.

I didn't think much of the ref but Smith unfortunately still deserved those stall calls. hope he is able to shake off that match. he's too talented and has worked too hard to let something like that linger with him during his senior year. Dhesi is also really good. he might be going to Rio next summer as Canada's heavyweight.

nice of the Pac-12 to stream the match live too.
