I was happy to be wrong that RU could not overcome these losses. Huge kudos to Coach G for bumping up Lewis, and inserting Messner and McD at 285. Mess might be the MVP w a loss, but probably Gravina w the TF over a good wrestler is the MVP today.

Not that it matters but i'm pretty sure they didn't award those late points to O'Donnell. At least that's what they said on the broadcast. And the RU Wrestling twitter account is claiming a 19-15 score.

Absolutely huge for Gravina - far and away the MVP of the match. Baker had beaten Dechow the opening weekend and was ranked in the country. RU getting bonus at 184 and Princeton not getting bonus at either 197 or 285 - wow, didn't see that coming.

I had RU winning 21-15 but wasn't even close in the way I envisioned the match playing out. Can't understate how big that was by Gravina - to go up 10 there instead of 8 is huge with two matches to go and makes the final matches play out differently in terms of in-match strategy.

184 is a meat grinder, but Gravina served notice he's not going to end up a sausage patty today.

Great match and atmosphere! Enjoyed it immensely. Little bummer Ash lost but rest was very good. McCabe should not lose to a true Frosh as a RS Sr. Good or not. Gravina also my favorite, just have to love how he wrestles. He's relentless. Messner with a Ton of Heart. Lewis real good chance to AA this year and JVB looked real good too.

Ash will be just fine. Yes, a disappointing loss, but we will see great things from him this year.
Happy for Gravino, he is true grit. Looking forward to the RAC matches, hope we can beat last yrs avg attendance!
