OK..now I've seen them play.

• 2nd half defensive intensity and down the stretch rebounding... awesome.
• offensive play x-tyler...yikes. (but 1 game of course).
• speaking of Scaife.... amazing up to the last couple of minutes. WTH with that out of bounds pass and the foul on the 3 pt shot? come on leader.
• and speaking of fouls....the refs in women's college BBall continue to do a dis-service to the skill level and athleticism of the players. HORRIBLE calls. They continue to blow the whistle before the play even happens. (that male ref ought to lose his card). I was hoping the refs would catch up to the game these women are playing. Geez. Let them play! IMHO 1 of the contributing factors why guys (like me) have a hard time watching the games.

Over and over again. When there was a problem with the shot clock in the first half, she went over to the scorers table to fix it. She does know something about “fixing clocks”.

But yes, there was a fairly big discrepancy in the number of free throws awarded. The rule of verticality appRently did not apply when we played defense.

I know it is not her style but if there is 1 thing I'd love to see CVS do in her remaining years is to help bring the game along to match the level of play. They appear to try and model the game to the WNBA but ref it like the high school level.

Who else has her statue in the college game these days? Would love to see her leverage it in support of her team and the women's game overall. But if not...get us back to prominence...which appears to be more likely than not :fistbump:

Fitzpatrick was a great scorer at St. Joe's. She needs to become that scorer for us especially from behind the 3 point line more. I saw her play two years ago and she can shoot. She was St. Joe's leading scorer. She needs to take more shots and not be so unselfish.

At least she called some fouls against NC State. Unless I missed one, the ref with the pony tail called 1 against them in the entire game. The guy wasn't great either. With the game on the line in the 4th quarter, he called a phantom foul against KK that the replay clearly showed was a clean block (gave them 2 points), and when Jenkins hit a shot from underneath, she was fouled, but no call (a possible extra point for us). I don't ever want to see that ref combination again.

Some people are so dumb ... does no one realize NC State was RANKED in the top-25 up until Tuesday after their loss but were still receiving votes at #26 ... that is essentially a RANKED win and we were down 14 and still won! This RU team can beat anybody and if we keep it up like this we will be ranked by B1G play ... “winning season” not the goal gimme a break

Thanks for the info. I refuse to hit a "like" button regarding this. So the announcers were referring to the B1G women never winning. Yuck.
