RU vs Seton Hall 12/8/17 2PM Game Thread

Yes, Tyler got a quick 1st foul so she got yanked ASAP. Came in at end of 1st and hit a shot. 16-11 end of 1st. Stasha had a nice 3. Bot teams running.

Scrappy already, near technical called when a pirate was walking through the rutgers huddle after a foul

20 all, CVS raving at Tyler during TO. Good match between Tyler and SHU guard.

RU went on a 10-2 run to end half. CVS not real pleased. At least the SHU big just got her 3rd foul at the end of the half.

34-31 RU 4:20 3rd. Can somebody not named Tyler score cause this iis not working real well. OTOH Stasha must have about 10 or more boards already.

61-39 everything going right. Stasha with a 3, and Cryor with a steal and layup. Impressive now.

Curious, anyone else have problem with audio on IMG Sports Network?

Scaife stat 23 points in 25 minutes.Early in game Seton Hall was playing Rutgers tough when she wasn't on court.

At first I thought this was a rerun of last nights men's game with all the turnovers! Team really did some great things in the 4th QTR plus it sure helps to have Tyler on the floor!

For a long while Rutgers seemed to have as many turnovers as made baskets
but the 4th Q was pure medicine to cure our ills.

Back from the game with some comments:
- Fewer fans but a lot of energy
- Seton Hall coach is excellent, with a game plan that frustrated us on offense and broke our press on defense. CVS gave up on the 55 in the second half.
- To call Seton Hall's shooting pathetic would be insulting pathetic shooting. I would like to give the credit to our defense, but they threw up enough non-contested bricks to complete the addition next door.
- We know Tyler is the real deal, but Stasha also has all the tools. She can be as good as she wants.
- CC is perhaps the quickest guard I have seen since, dare I say, Matee? Even quicker than Sanders, if that is possible.
- I love this team. Could be the biggest turnaround ever.
- Wish the students would come out and support them

Agree on Carey--she is still getting comfortable but the potential is sky high. I've actually been very impressed with Harris too and think with more opportunities in the post she can be very good.

It looked like they worked more on interior passing and backdoor. The passes were too sloppy which resulted in TOs, but there did seem to be a more conscious effort to get better shots.

Much better discipline too in only taking 8 three-pointers. It's very nice we made 5 of them, but that means the team was working more toward playing to our strengths.

Beyond the 20 turnovers, this was a very impressive win.
