Rutgers #227 in 3-point fg percentage made

And not much better in over-all fg percentage....#211.
The gang that couldn't shoot straight.
Hard to win with that record of futility.
That whole stat banner is holy smokes. This new high powered offensive focused team has only 4 of the other 17 teams scoring less than us total PPG.

I am stunned.

I thought 76+ points a game would be well into the top half. I am even more impressed by Pike's defense in earlier years being able to win games when scoring in the 50's and even once in the 40's against decent competition.

Now I see why fans (Richie) are constantly moaning about the offense.

I am also amazed at the rebounding ranking. IMO our rebounding has been terrible this year - although we have had several games recently where we stepped up in that category.

The last game being fresh in my memory, I can't image that our defense can be rated that high in points per game or points per possession.

We have some terrible offensive players, but I thought Ace and Dylan would raise all the stats - although Ace seems to be really hot and cold with his shooting.

Wait a minute! I thought Pike said his number one priority this offseason was getting good free throw and three pints shooters!
Oh wait. J forgot Antonio chol- who apparently was an amazing point shooter - transferred. Forgot to add his name the other day!

If you go to the top tabs where it says Basketball it is all right there under schedule and statistics. Or the drop down menu while on your phone. Pretty good resource.

The irony is the team still averages 75 points a game. The defense stinks which puts added pressure on the offense to keep shooting 3 pointers trying to catch up.

How dare you add context to statistics...lol. The natives here will have no of that.
