***Rutgers announces series with Boston College***

Or it does not make a big difference to our Fla or BC's NJ recruiting.
so .if you are a FLA recruit and chance to play back in your home state.as a possible RU recruit...do you still consider RU?
RU now less exposure in FLA for recruiting.. NOBODY even in Boston cares about BC..DOES ZERO FOR RECRUITING..

Possibly one game in their college career. It just isn't that big of a deal. See I did that without going all caps.

BC had some pretty good teams in the early/mid 2000s. Since then have been pretty mediocre. BC seems to have a small fan base, small stadium, poor recruiting.

Rutgers had 2 bad seasons. Before that they've been an above average team since 2004. We have a larger fanbase, better recruiting footprint, we will inherit more money soon than BC will ever see.

By those measures we are a better program.
Interesting take. I guess larger fan base and better recruiting footprint are great. Money isn't an issue. BIG has a great revenue deal, but ACC has a fairly strong deal which will only get better. BC is in a fortunate position b/c athletic funding isn't a huge issue. Simple fact is there are measurables on the field - things like head to head record, overall record, bowl appearances/record, rankings etc. there is no comparison between the programs when looking at actual performance.

So who wins this, I dont feel like looking up records and know they dominate the head to head.

You don't have to look it up. It's not close. Rutgers' best year ever was 2006. BC had a better season the next year.

LOL we were scheduled to play ONE GAME at Miami; not 5 over 10 years. You are seriously over-estimating the "exposure" factor. By like 1000000x and then some. [cheers]

True, but things change. Typically, Miami has a ton of talent, even in down years. Washington has had many lean years, but is a solid program. BC is more volatile in performance, but Washington has had some years.
