If you keep you season tickets buy the cheapest seats

Time to stop the whining, suck it up and take one for the TEAM. Go to the game at Yankee stadium.
Yes, having to go to Yankee Stadium for a home game sucks.
But do you support the team, or do you support them only if it is convenient for you?
The team needs the fans support.
Think of how the team will feel if the stands are empty or there are no loud cheers. (Boy, we showed "them"--who is "them?")
Hobbs has said he did not make the deal, but he is honoring it. Too late to back out.
The front runners of our fanbase like to say we are NYC's team, and we mock Syracuse and UConn as not being NYC's team.
The front runners of our fanbase mock attendance of other teams at their regular season and bowl games.
How will it look if Yankee Stadium is half empty?
Rutgers is a member of the greatest collegiate athletics conference.
Think and act B1G, and not like small children.
This is why fans unfortunately need to make a stand.

No. Our group is having shirts made up for the game:Is this becomes a regular or semi-regular thing, are you guys okay with this?
Please explain to the group how playing there makes us more money? The one quantifiable constant is the folks we are competing with are spending more money than we are. I presume we all want to win. No bucks, no Buck Rogers.
We played a HOME BE game there in 2011? I had no idea. What does that even mean "enough is enough"? The last time we played there was, what, 2011?
Maybe it will not be measured in ticket sales alone. Maybe the positive exposure in NYC and nationally (ahem) could translate into other tangible benefits (merchandise sales) and intangible benefits (being further cemented as NYC's P5 team). Yeah, it's a stretch, but that whole issue is Hobbs' and Rutgers' problem, not ours. Please explain to the group how playing there makes us more money?
I know it makes the Yankees money since we are being charged to play there. But still now sure how Rutgers is making anything on this.
Nobody seems to know that one. LOL
We played a HOME BE game there in 2011? I had no idea.
Of course not because it's an entirely different scenario. LOLNot my point. Again, this sucks, but some here are acting like we've played up there 10 times in the last 3 years. I mean "enough is enough"? Lol com'on man!
You do know we play in it already, right? We can't say we own the NYC TV market and then refuse to play there.
I am renewing my season tickets so even if I don't go Rutgers will still have sold 2 tickets for this.Don't boycott the game out of spite. Be there to support the team. Getting into the Bronx isn't that hard and there are plenty of bars to go to around the stadium.
We can't say we own the NYC TV market and then refuse to play there.
It's not that easy either, especially if you live south or west of New Brunswick. And we get robbed of the tailgating experience. While the bars near Yankee Stadium might provide the alcohol part of tailgating, they certainly don't provide the food experience.Don't boycott the game out of spite. Be there to support the team. No. Our group is having shirts made up for the game:
HOBBS-WE ARE HERE UNDER PROTEST!
That will show the administration not to mess with us fans!
Seriously, however, I think Hobbs got the message, but it is too late for this year. If there is a ferry, we are going to take a ferry from Highlands/Atlantic Highlands, which is alway a fun trip.

And Hobbs would even give us a reacharound?Im thinking a shirt more like this.....JULIE EFFED US
But hobbs said during the radio show that our tailgate is inside the stadium watching the wrestling match :okay:[roll][winking]
That's not a separate entity. NJ market is split between NY and Philly markets.we do own the NYC market, its called the New Jersey Market
Thank you Cali. The man raised $45M for facilities this year for donations. As far as I'm concerned this gives him an out. We could be playing this game with Julie as AD, Fludd as HC and no facilities upgrades whatsoever in any sport.Hobbs is already the best AD we have ever had.
And we have the whiniest fan base in college football. This thread is exhibit A.
Take the train and subway or just drive in. Really, the drive to Yankee stadium isn't bad at all. Last few times I did it, didn't hit any traffic and the parking there is pretty easy. It's not that easy either, especially if you live south or west of New Brunswick. For a HOME game at their own place. Many spout that we're NYCs team and yet aren't willing to make a relatively easy trip. Fans of other schools travel way longer to get to their home games at their schools stadium for God's sake. PSU fills their 100,000 seat stadium every week and a good amount of those fans live way more than 2 hours away.
So you just refuse to go to a game to support your team because it's not at home? Stellar fans we have. Yeah it's not ideal and I hope they don't do it again but come on. There's other ways to protest. For a HOME game at their own place.
What a novel concept.

It's not.How is Yankee Stadium more into thr NYC TV Market than HPSS?
