I’m usually the one who is saying it’s not over yet when so many are throwing in the towel lol..even said it down 2 when there was quite a bit of moaning in this game.

could be Greg felt PJ would be having his D-Line doing the bums rush and plsying full out till the end in hope for a turnover and miracle finish. figuring shotgun would be better for AK to take a knee to take time off the scoreboard.
I was was wondering why the shotgun and not under center myself , but figured Greg sometimes bum rushes his D-line against victory formations if he feel there's even the slightest chance to get a turnover and quick score , so thinking PJ might try for a miracle ending by disrupting the under center exchange with a bums rush , Schiano probably felt shotgun was a safer and better way to run the time off clock .
I felt shotgun had a better chance for mishap, but everything wound up fine and I won't complain
