And JWill did a nice job using the rim to keep his layups from being blocked. I thought he played pretty well, and I can't remember him falling down.

I think Pike Finally started the right players, and had improved player rotations
Agreed, everyone has been calling for Grant to start, plus the fact that Derkack did not play and chuck his bad drive bricks into the rim. His negative plays staying on the bench off the court all night was a net positive on the court. Pike did a good job tonight, he deserves some sort of credit tonight.

JMike > Acuff. Without JMike they I don't think we handle their full court pressure.
I hope Pike keeps this same lineup and rotation. Williams and JMike are better coming off the bench where they won't dominate the ball. Acuff plays best off-ball and allows Dylan to control the offense.
I think tonight they needed them both on the floor
acuff has the most juice offensively of anyone not named Bailey and Harper he needs to play
I have to admit, I am not much of a JMike fan. BUT, he was excellent against the press tonight, he seemed to easily break the press when it seemed to be giving Rutgers trouble. JMike was really, really good as he also hit free throws late.

Acuff and the 4 frosh on the floor to start the second half is when we finally got control of the game.
Lathan had 6 points and 9 huge rebounds. He looks comfortable out there now.
Jeremiah and JMike both played really well.
Jeremiah needs to improve FT but he was much better around the basket. No banana peels this game.
Who is the last big for us that shot 80% from the line? And doing it as a true frosh. I started doing the research and the only guy I found in the last 15 years was Johnathan Mitchell. But he wasn't a 5.

The key with this game is that Ace and Dylan both played well AND they had a supporting cast with guys like JWill, Davis, Sommerville, etc…. Martini made some contributions and I feel good for him.
Take the win and be very happy.Rutgers won the game at the foul and nearly gave the game away with missed free throws.Great team win with lots of players contributing.Williams had his best game with drives to the basket,Somerville and Davis made clutch foul shots.Bailey and Harper were the high scorers with big shots at critical parts of the game.While the defense allowed too many easy layups ,overall the effort was there. Pikiell should be commended for getting the team motivated after another slow start in scoring.This was a great game to watch and it took a early spurt in the second half with two 3 pointers by Harper for Rutgers to finally take the lead.There were two questionable fouls called on Harper when he was driving to the basket and made the shots but was called for charging into the defender.

Rutgers Basketball took down UCLA 75-68 on Monday to snap its three-game losing skid and get back in the win column.
His first 3 that went in and out made me feel bad for him. It’s like wtf, kid hasn’t been able to catch a break. Next one was beautiful.

Seriously. My son runs down to the landing behind the 100s from the top of the 300s every time the cheerleaders come out with t-shirts. They never make it out of the 100s.
They throw from basically center court, and it looks like the shirt travels a long distance.... but then it lands in like row 3. The T-shirt cannon does better, but half of them unravel and still land in the 100s... and most of those shots aren't aimed anywhere near my son.
He gets a great workout going up and down all those stairs, though, lol
