Football Rutgers Football's losing skid hits four games in 42-20 road loss to USC

When was the last 3 & out this D earned?

Hell, at this point I’d just take a punt.

Are we the only team that refuses to throw to the RB?
Yes — and mind you, we didn’t even throw the ball to the RB when ray was here, and he wound up being one of the strongest pass catching RBs in recent NFL history! That tells ya about the guiding philosophy

We've been starting every game with our DB's so far off the LOS out of fear of getting burned deep at the cost of giving up a million yards underneath. At some point you have to make them prove they can beat you deep.

Can't stand Greg's hyper risk adverse style of coaching on both sides of the ball.

And now FOX is showing local news.
Tell me about how great "cable/broadcast" games are.

He's an expert at teaching the proper technique for diving at your opponent's knees
Schiano has a history of being a very good defensive coach prior to this year. Full stop.

The D is awful this year. That’s fact. It’s not the norm of Schiano coached team so acting like this is par for the course is just nonsense. The problem is - he finally has an ok offense and now his D is terrible.

blame the local network and local cableco... you could use teh FoxSports app and cast to a TV in a pinch.

Local FOX in Florida got the game when they switched MLB Postgame to FS1.. where the football game was. But we are not New York. New York Fox chose the MLB Postgame and then local news.. to pay the bills.

Love how our LB's just go seek out a lineman or a TE instead of going at the ball carrier.

Harisymiak may need to be shown the door. As a DC is is completely overmatched. He has no idea on how to work with the pieces he has. As another poster noted, maybe Heatherman was the real brains of the defense.

I mean… this defense will not have a stop this entire game, I’ll guarantee it. Over by halftime.
