You can’t take a bunch of bad shooters and make them good by “practicing shooting” during the course of a season.
Crazy that this team is depending on mawot Mag to be a high volume shot taker. Never had a chance this season...please use the portal
We’re down by 13, and 9 of that difference is them being 3-8 on threes while we’re 0-8.

You could practice with these players u till the cows come home and it won’t change much. Two many barely mid-major players on this roster.
Then, you run a one-on-one offense, and it’s hopeless.
It's been 8 years of horrible offensive ball. His offense and recruitment of players that can actually shoot consistently has sucked.
Davis has been good. Simpson and Cliff have been decent. Everyone else has stunk up the court. Fast forward to next season please.
Only team in the league that is worse than Rutgers this year is Michigan. Minnesota, Northwestern, Maryland are so much better. Of the remaining games only Michigan and Penn State may be winnable.
The shooting is so bad I’m starting to just laugh at the ineptitude. I’m done being angry or surprised. I accept that Pike and any random member of this message board could likely have the same offensive success but I hate that this season is destroying any positive perception we had developed as a program. This is unacceptable
Two additional things. Run a fracking offense that moves to get easier shots vs. the one on one thing AND get a coach who can coach a big man.
Every time you look its 30% from field and 15% from 3. Its actually mind boggling that these are high major basketball players/recruits. Pike needs to own this and minute this season ends needs to figure out next year or that will be a historic epic fail
He should probably bring in better players for next season, how’s recruiting going? I don’t really follow..
It’s not Pike’s offense - we’ve gotten plenty of wide open looks from 3, and layups. We are missing almost all of them. Terrible talent + mental making them even worse
Hyatt, Mag, Woolf, Gavin, Palm, and Noah are a combined 1-18.
