Honestly, if you were a general manager and your job was on the line would you take Ace with the lottery pick? I think he has all the tools in the world but heās gotta learn to play basketball and I donāt think necessarily one learns to play at the NBA level
If you want to feel better flip on the college football semi final to watch PSU. A football school that will likely also be sending their menās team to the NCAA tournament. And people wonder why they donāt consider us a rivalry

I kind of have the same opinion. His game is pretty far away from being NBA ready. Most say he is a top 3 pick - I don't get it based on his play.

Acuff and Grant get a little better, everyone else on the team have regressed. No team play, poor passing, poor substitutions, peak in the huddle showed Pike desperately screaming instructions to the team. We will be underdogs the rest of the season. Shocked that Purdue was only 1.5 point favorite- everyone missed an easy betting win. Even the most rampant RU fans are depressed with the performance and the outlook for the rest of the season. There is no way that Dylan and Ace can be successful without a competent supporting cast and good coaching. Both which are missing.

I used to be a Pike fan after he returned Rutgers from years in the dumpster fire. This year? He has proven heās clueless at evaluating the kids in the portal to compliment two top freshmen. He has sadly exposed himself and we need the next level coach to take us to the next level.

I was pretty negative, warning about depending on freshman, not loving the transfers, and still didn't think it would be this bad.

Lathan has been bad. He's a freshman that probably would not be playing if we built the roster well, but he's bad right now. Lost defensively at almost all times. Christ, Rafferty got excited tonight when Lathan would actually move and run out at a shooter. Just moving stood out for him.

To be fair nobody could anticipate Dylan getting sick but yea Hayes and martini are unplayable.
With each succeeding league game Rutgers performance gets progressively worse.Purdue made layups and dunks while Rutgers struggled to get even a open jump shot.In the first nine minutes of the game Rutgers made one basket.Neither Davis or Williams scored a first half point as starters.Rutgers isn't going to defeat any B1G Ten rival when Bailey and Harper don't even score 25 points.Purdue runs a half court offense like other well coached teams while Rutgers commits 12 turnovers in the first half.The record is now 8-8 with two straight losses at the RAC.The RAC crowd has no impact because the team performance is so inept.
Geo, Ron, Caleb, Paul, and Myles/Cliff were The 93 Bulls compared to these guys. We didn't appreciate it enough.
