"Act like you've been there before" have you played a sport before? Emotional game, many times good players talk. Cooper Flagg as well, every time Flagg dunks he looks for the defender to talk trash. He and Ace are almost identical in there emotional outbursts. Some refs allow more than others...duke overcomes a tech or 2 at Rutgers Ace has to be more mature because you need every advantage you can get to win consistently with this roster. Here's Flagg "chirping" as this board likes to say. Even during the times you guys want back players talked during the game.

I didn’t say he’s a me player and was the reason we lost. Just asking for a little more control. Maybe just pose and don’t say words. We don’t know what he was jawing. I agree Duke has a much better roster. I’m just sitting here wishing our program built on what we did 4-5 years ago. Instead we’re slipping back to laughing stock. Also agree the play itself was an amazing display of athleticism and explosiveness.
